The Role

We’re looking for a super organised, results driven Design Programme Lead to join our Team and lead all our client engagements at a project and programme level.

This role reports to our Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities 

  • Guide and lead projects and programmes from pitch to completion by facilitating team productivity, managing client expectations, creating and maintaining plans and providing a layer of communication between teams and stakeholders
  • Maximise profitability, and efficiency of project deliveries
  • Manage programme management activities at the account and project level
  • Responsible for the tracking and reporting of design resource allocations
  • Own all programme/project management responsibilities with ability to handle Strategy and delivery programme of work.
  • Identify team needs with regards to process, tools, documentation, asset management, etc.
  • Balance multiple inputs of priorities and needs, making sure inter-dependencies are understood and planned for effectively
  • Capture design requirements and project goals and scope accordingly
  • Craft and manage schedules
  • Communicate project and program status
  • Creation of delivery management processes and procedures to standardise delivery efforts as the studio grows
  • Manage individual client relationships from a Programme Management standpoint.

Requirements & skills

  • 7+ years working with design teams and leadership
  • 7+ years’ experience with Digital Design cross capability projects in a project/programme management and/or client engagement capacity
  • 7+ years knowledge and working experience with cross functional teams including requirements gathering and participating in the analysis of user research to solve for complex design decision.
  • Hands on experience working with in-house product design teams
  • Passion for user experience and design
  • An understanding of design quality and product strategy
  • An understanding of the design and product development process.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners
  • Ability to work across multiple complex programs
  • Experience leading a teams in successful delivery of design projects in an Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environment.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow existing client accounts and works with commercial team to shape those opportunities
  • Certifications or qualifications in project management frameworks is desirable e.g. Prince2 or Agile Scrum
  • Manage blended teams of permanent and contracted team members

 

 

Location

At Fearless we’ve been working remotely for the past year, embracing location flexibility fully. We’ve opened our office in London, while continuing to explore how a hybrid working environment can work. We currently expect our team to be working in the office 3 days a week.
